Nursery website design
A website that answers parents’ questions before they ask, written for your nursery and built to work on a phone. £495 paid once. No monthly fee.
What parents need to find
Parents choosing a nursery compare three or four settings, usually on a phone, often late at night. They want the same few things: what it costs, how funded hours work, what a day looks like, who will look after their child, and how to book a visit. If they can’t find those quickly, they move on to the next tab.
Every nursery site we build has a clear place for:
- Fees, sessions and funded hours, including your chargeable extras, laid out the way councils now expect
- A day with you: rooms, routines, meals, naps and how the key person works
- Your team, with qualifications and paediatric first aid
- Your latest Ofsted report, linked in full
- Policies: safeguarding, SEND, complaints and the rest, dated and easy to update
- Book a visit and waiting list forms that land in your inbox
Not sure what’s required? Our guide to what a nursery website must include explains the EYFS and funding rules in plain English.
How it works
- Free check. We look at your current site, or what parents find when they search for you, and send a short note.
- You send what you have. An old leaflet, your prospectus, a few photos. We write the pages.
- You review a private preview. Everything by email, so you can reply between sessions.
- We go live on your web address, and set up or tidy your Google Business Profile.
Most nurseries are live in about two weeks.
What it costs
£495, paid once. Hosting is free, on a Cloudflare account that belongs to you, so there’s no monthly fee. Your first month after launch includes free email support for changes. After that, a small change like new fees or a staff update is £25, and a new page is £60. Your staff can also update news, policies and photos themselves in a simple editor.
Photos without the worry
We only use photos of children with written parental consent, and never with names. Many settings prefer photos of rooms, the garden and the team, or a small set of AI images with no real children in them, always labelled as illustrative.
What you own
Your domain is registered in your name, your hosting account is yours, and so are your words and photos. No long contract. If you ever move on, we’ll help you hand over.
Questions
How much does a nursery website cost?
£495, paid once, with no monthly fee. Hosting is free on a Cloudflare account in your name. After the first free month, a small change is £25 and a new page is £60.
How long does a nursery website take?
Most nurseries are live in about two weeks, depending on how quickly you can send notes and approve pages.
Do I have to write the content?
No. Send an old leaflet, your prospectus or a few notes, and we write the pages in plain English. You approve everything before it goes live.
Can you keep our existing web address?
Yes. We move your existing domain across so parents and old links still find you, or help you register one in your name.
Will our fees page meet the funded hours rules?
Yes. We lay out funded hours, additional hours, meals, consumables and activities the way DfE’s chargeable extras template sets out, with the alternatives for parents who opt out.
