School website design

A school website parents can use on a phone, with every statutory page in place and dated. A fixed price, paid once, and no annual licence fee.

Built for the two jobs a school site has

For parents: term dates, the lunch menu, letters home, clubs, uniform and who to contact, findable in two taps. For compliance: everything DfE says you must publish, from your SEN information report to the new allergy safety policy, each with a “last reviewed” date. See ourschool website requirements checklist for the full list.

What’s included

Want to see one? Click around Wrenfold Primary, a demo school site we built for a made-up school, with a “today” panel, lunch menu and term dates.

What it costs

Every school is different, so we send a fixed quote within two working days after looking at your current site. You pay once. Hosting is free on a Cloudflare account in the school’s name, so there’s no annual licence fee. Your first month after launch includes free changes.

Honest about where we are

We’re a small team, new to schools, not to building websites. We don’t have live school clients to show you yet, which is why our first schools get our full attention on every page.

Questions

How much does a school website cost?

We give every school a fixed quote within two working days of seeing your current site, paid once with no annual licence fee. Hosting is free on a Cloudflare account that belongs to the school.

Will the website meet DfE requirements?

Yes. Every statutory page DfE lists for maintained schools or academies is built in, with the date it was last reviewed shown on the page, so gaps are easy to spot.

Can staff update the website themselves?

Yes. Office staff get their own editor accounts for news, letters, term dates and policies, with a short training session at handover.

Can we keep our web address?

Yes. We move your existing domain and redirect old page addresses so links in old letters and on Google still work.

Do you use photos of pupils?

Only with consent and never with names. Many schools now prefer photos of rooms, work and pupils from behind, or illustrative images, given DfE advice on limiting how visible pupil images are online.
